This past weekend Matt and I were forced to go a mandatory Army retreat. While we were not too thrilled with going, we were looking forward to seeing the city of Ruidoso. In the winter the city is known for their ski resorts since they are 7000-7200 feet above sea level! All other times of the year they are known for the racetrack and casinos!
Matt and I had a great time watching some horse races as I have never seen them before. We also got to do some great shopping downtown! And of course, we had to check out the casino! Below are a few pictures from our weekend!
